COB Early Career Achievement Award (ECAA)

Josh Gordon (MBA, '00), National Account Manager at Brightpoint, Inc., is the MBA winner of COB's 2009 ECAA.

Venky Peruvemba (MBA, ’00), Financial Analysis Manager at Motorola, Inc., was the MBA ECAA winner for 2008.

COB Alumni Fall of Fame

LaVerne Council (MBA, '86), Vice President and CIO of Johnson & Johnson was among the five inductees for the 2008-09 COB Alumni Fall of Fame.

David Magers (MBA '86) and his wife Karen have established scholarship funds for insurance and nursing students at Illinois State University. David, the executive vice president and cheif financial officer at COUNTRY Financial, chairs the College's Katie School of Insurance Advisory Board.
